Kendall's 5th grade class went to the zoo. We had fun I think the girls liked the pandas best! Here is a few pictures.

Kason is 2 months old. He is in control of the house. He is not always happy, but still has everyone jumping for him. Kendall and Keaton are great, always there to pick him up! This is almost his smile, we really have to work for the smile, and today I guess I was not that funny.

ASU Petting Zoo

Keaton's 1st grade class had a trip to the ASU petting zoo. Kenslee got to go with us. The kids had a great time! This is some of the boys and Mrs. Aranza ready for the hay ride! Kenslee got so excitied when she saw the very big turkey! She was right in front of the turkey they were really watching each other!

Happy Easter

Easter morning was a little hectic! We found all 4 baskets filled with goodies. Everyone was happy and they even had some chocolate before church. Kason just had a bottle, he pretty much slept through it. We all made it to church almost on time. Ha After church we went out to eat with mama and grandad, Mike and Judith, plus the Malone's. Since it was raining and nasty outside we went to the gym at school to do a quick egg hunt for the kids. I did try to take some pictures of all the kids dressed, but getting four to pose is out of the question. These are a few of the better ones. Everyone is counting how many they found except Kendall who is playing with her volleyballKenslee happy to find a egg!!!

Book Buddies Easter Egg Hunt

Kendall and Keaton's class are Book Buddies this year. They pair a 5th grader with 1st grader and they read together. The classes get together once a week. Kendall loved it when she was the younger one just as much as she loves taking care of the little one. Keaton has a blast with his as well. This was their Easter party together. The 5th grade hid eggs for the 1st grade then helped them find them.

One Month Already

We can't believe a month has already went by!! There has not been much sleep in this house, but it is improving. Last night everyone slept ALL night for the first time in more than a month. Rich and I didn't know what to think this morning. Kason is not crying as much. His clavicle that was fractured in delivery is healing, and after giving up nursing with two babies, and being on the third formula he is doing better. The rest of us are adjusting too. Kendall and Keaton are great, they both help so much. Kenslee really is doing good too. She does not want to get far from mommy and daddy but we understand. We have been busy, Kendall's JO volleyball has ended and Keaton's boy's club basketball has ended so maybe if we slow down we can get a routine started. Keaton does have baseball starting, but that is it. I hope to stay more up to date soon.

Kendall played jo volleyball again this year. She loves it and we love watching her! Her team had a great year and awesome coach. Thanks Anna!!! I only missed one tournament, the weekend before Kason was born, of course they placed 1st there. Kendall can't wait to play next year!

We had a great time with our friends at church. It rained that morning so they moved things inside. The kids did not care, they all had so much fun anyway. Kendall enjoyed helping hide the eggs, and showing Kenslee just what to do!

Keaton's Basketball

Keaton YES HE SCORES! Keaton has loved any ball since he was a baby, and still does. He just finished boys club basketball. It was a little crazy with games, new baby, homework etc., but we LOVE watching our kids play. It has so far, always been a great time. His team had super coaches and taught them a lot. He will now go right to baseball, but he is already missing basketball.

Kason Thomas finally arrived!!!

Kason arrived on March 4,2009. He is a very big boy, weighing 10.5 and 21 inches long. We are happy to have him here, Kenslee is still a little unsure at times. We knew it would be busy with him, but it is even worse than we imagined. We are loving it, we wouldn't do without any one of them! Here is some hospital photos we will post some more later.

Ice Blast 09

This was a CRAZY week! We were like everyone else we lost our power about 9:00pm Tues night. We have a gas fireplace, so at least we were warm. On Wed, Rich bought a generator to hook up refrigerator and microwave and some lights, plus the TV. No cable, but the kids could play games and watch movies. We are all not roughing it people. We are wimps we admit it! I said if this ever happens again we are heading south till it is over! To make this even better Kendall had been sick, and starting to feel better, but by Thursday Kenslee was not herself. Our power returned Thursday night(note 2 days with admission of being wimps!) Friday morning Kenslee was running fever, after a trip to Dr, we know she has her first ear infection and probably RSV. This is actually her first illness that needed treatment, we do feel lucky for that! The antibiotic for ear should treat anything for RSV so we did not have to have tests or x-rays. She really felt like Kendall had it, but older kids seem to just have cold with coughing. She said if Kenslee got worse call her but for now we were good. On Sunday I was worried, but by Monday morning Kenslee is returning to her full of life self. She is still real congested, and coughing, but is improving!

Ok thats all my whining! We do feel so lucky, no damage and we really had it much better than most! We pray everyone else can survive until their lives return to normal. My family at Senath, are looking at 6 weeks of this, so I should not complain. Kendall and Keaton did take some cool pictures, I will post those later.

Sorry it has been so long, my laptop has passed on. For now we are sharing! We think we have found a name , Kason Thomas. I finally had everyone vote this was our pick, unless we change our minds in the next 7 weeks.(hopefully less than 7 weeks) We are all getting back in routine of school. It is very hectic as usual, I will try to post again soon

Each year I take hundreds of pictures trying to get one for the Christmas card, this was the best year yet. This is never a pleasant event, yes I usually end up frustrated. I dreaded this year with Kenslee, but the fifth one was it. YEA It is the first on here. We wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS enjoy the holidays, and think of all our blessings!

Senath Christmas Parade

We were asked to ride on the Senath Church's float. They were in need of elves, so Keaton and Kendall plus a couple of friends were happy to help. Logan our cousin also rode. The parade was great, for a small town they do really good.

Kendall 's Skate Party

Nov 29th was Kendall's 11th birthday! She had a skate party on the 28th. This was Keaton's first time to skate, He loved it. She invited her entire class, but the weekend after Thanksgiving is bad for birthdays. I'm not sure how many we ended up with, but they had a good time, and were really good. We also had the place to ourselves which was good. We had a couple of girls spend the night. Kendall had fun and is growing up too fast. We just cannot believe it.

Kenslee Hope's First Birthday

Kenslee loved her first birthday party. The cake was her favorite, of course. I think she was starting to figure the present thing too. She also loved her baby cousin Reece, which was good to see. Kenslee Hope is ONE! Her actual party is Sat., but she did get one present from Ms Valerie. We think she enjoyed it especially the cute box! Thank you Valerie. She is almost walking, she will take several steps to us. I'll post party pics this weekend!

Larry the pumpkin

A few years ago Rich started craving the pumpkin with Kendall, then Keaton now Kenslee. They always look forward to it and for some reason always name it "Larry". Keaton picked that name when he was 3 or 4 and it has stuck. This year they wanted Kenslee to help, so she did.

FALL FESTIVAL

These were taken at the fall festival at school. Kendall was Nancy Drew she picked out everything herself this year. Kenslee was a very busy "HERSHEY'S KISS" all her pictures were blurry from motion. Keaton, well he wanted to be a wolf, the scary kind, I really struggled with this, but it was his costume . We worked hard on his face, he liked it but said not ever again, no more glue! Thank goodness.

Volleyball

We love Fall! Each year we have to go see Grandad's cotton pickers in action. Kendall and Keaton are amazed and love it. I have to admit I like it too. Growing up with it you don't appreciate it, but it always brings back lots of memories. Of course they don't get to play in cotton trailers like I did, but they both love it. Kenslee was unsure of the noise and dust blowing, but can never get enough of Mama and Grandad.

Kenslee prefers real food to the strained version. She has no table manners yet, but that will come. We enjoy laughing at her each night at the table, she gets so excited and will eat anything. Kendall and Keaton do not believe they ever did this.HA

Back at the end of September I had to look. After doing ultrasounds for so long, you just cannot be surprised. At least we couldn't. We had to know, plus my mom was ready to shop. I thought that would become old on the 4th baby, thankfully no. He is for sure BOY. He does not have name yet, but Rich calls him the Equalizer. Keaton is soooo HAPPY. I guess they were feeling out numbered.

This is my great niece Reece Elizabeth . Proud parents Brad(my nephew) and Sarah Jackson. She is beautiful, I'll add better pics later. She arrived 9-7-08 weighing 7lbs 11oz 20 1/2 in long. We are so happy to have her . She and Kenslee will have lots of fun together.

I have been so behind on the blog, but I also had a huge surprise this month(Aug). We will be adding the 4th little Sheppard in March. It has taken us a little time (month and a half) to absorb, believe, accept this. Rich and the kids have been excitied the whole time, and I am doing better. I know God has a purpose and will see me through the next very busy years. The offficial due date is March 17 2009. We will try to post more soon.

Kendall has braces! She got them the first week in August. She will be wearing them a long time, with more to come later. We think she looks great. So far, she is adjusting just fine.

Destin Vacation

I hope I am finally getting this started. I have tried all summer to figure this out. Our favorite place is the beach. We try to go each year. It is always a much needed break. Kendall and Keaton love it. We always go to the waterpark while there, that is their favorite. We forgot how much fun it is with a baby on the beach.HA Kenslee was really a great baby, but it is still a lot more work. We were happy to have Mama and Grandad's help the first half of the week, and Joyce stayed the whole week. We loved having the Beasley's and Malone's there the same week! All the kids had a great time together. Here are a few photos.
